JANUARY - HOMELESSNESS
The chef and staff of KOMA Restaurant believe that community connections are paramount. They value forming friendships through the food experience and are proud to present a monthly dinner series that encourages new community conversations.
Each month in 2018, KOMA Restaurant raised money for a local non-profit charity while also raising awareness of issues faced by that community, with a tasting dinner We raised over $5,000 with your support.
This year, in 2019, we are approaching giving and connecting authentically. While we will still create and host dinners at our restaurant, we will also attend events, donate directly to causes dear to us and participate or volunteer when needed.
OCT - ALL-WAYS DIVERSE DINNER
We were honoured to be considered as an auctioned item in the prestigious local charity event. We donated a tasting dinner for 8 people which was auctioned off. The value of the dinner is $800. Congrats and thank you to the winner. We'll see you soon at the restaurant.

UPCOMING EVENTS 2019
THE RED AFFAIR FOR HIV/ AIDS
The menu celebrates both the colour red and one of the many important ingredients needed to cycle 650km - carbohydrates. The others are community and compassion which will flow from your support of Jason's cycle from Toronto to Montreal for Toronto People With AIDS (PWA) foundation.
You can help by wearing a little or a lot of red to this dinner affair to bring greater awareness to the cause and set the stage for a conversation with community.
Thank you for caring.
