The chef and staff of KOMA Restaurant believe that community connections are paramount. They value forming friendships through the food experience and are proud to present a monthly dinner series that encourages new community conversations.

Each month, KOMA Restaurant will uniquely prepare a tasting dinner to raise money for a local non-profit charity while also raising awareness of issues faced by that community. These community conversations hope to inspire greater awareness, decrease stigmas, assist in sharing resources, celebrate diversity and forge friendships through an evening filled with great food and maybe even a bit of fun.

A typical evening, each a unique experience:

  • Doors open at 6pm unless otherwise noted in the monthly description.
  • Remarks begin at 6:30pm.
  • Tasting dinners are held at KOMA Restaurant where parking is ample and free.
  • Each tasting dinner includes a set ticket price which includes either a 3-course or 4-course dinner as indicated in the monthly description. There are a limited number available and cannot be purchased at the door. Tickets are available online, through the charity hosting the event or at the restaurant.
  • The ticket price is mostly comprised of your donation to the charity featured that evening. It does include taxes and service fees but does not include gratuity or beverages.
  • KOMA Restaurant will offer full bar, cocktail and wine for purchase that can be paid for by cash, debit or credit cards (KOMA gift certificates are excluded as payment for KOMACares Community Dinners).
  • Evenings will feature entertainment and-or conversations led by the charity or non-profit explaining their mission and may include stories by people that are helped by the organization.
  • Dinner tastings will begin after the non-profit remarks at approximately 7pm and last about 2 hours.
