Thank you for caring.

The chef and staff of KOMA Restaurant believe that community connections are paramount. They value forming friendships through the food experience and are proud to present a monthly dinner series that encourages new community conversations.

Each month, KOMA Restaurant will uniquely prepare a tasting dinner to raise money for a local non-profit charity while also raising awareness of issues faced by that community. These community conversations hope to inspire greater awareness, decrease stigmas, assist in sharing resources, celebrate diversity and forge friendships through an evening filled with great food and maybe even a bit of fun.

Our Community Fundraising Dinner Tasting Series

PAST DINNERS 2018

APRIL 2018

MAY 2018

Please check back soon for this mindful dinner menu to support The Mental Health Association in Windsor-Essex.  On Saturday, June 24th, thousands of Canadians from 31 communities - including Windsor - will be cycling in plain sight to put an end to the stigma of mental illness.  They are also riding to raise funds for mental health programs and services in their communities.

We are proud to support The WINDSOR CANCER CENTRE FOUNDATION with a dinner dress code of wearing a robe as the evening's attire (see below).  Our April fundraising dinner will support the foundation's ROBES FOR RADIATION and DIGNITY ROBES programs.

The robes that we'll support are designed as follows: open on three sides with Velcro, allowing breast and lung cancer patients to wear the robes during their radiation therapy treatments. The robes are theirs to care for during treatment, and keep, burn, bury or whatever they wish post-treatment.

This evening's menu is a nutritious 3-course dinner that's packed with immune-boosting citrus and spring flavours as described below.  Please wear the following dinner attire to support this unique cause: bathrobes, evening robe, dinner robe, cardigan robes, smokers jackets.

1st Course:  Smoked chicken spring rolls, avocado salsa over top of a

baby spinach salad with toasted almonds

2nd Course: Caramelized salmon topped with a blood orange salsa served with

a lemongrass & lime basmati rice and braised kale

3rd Course: Lemon and green tea creme brulee

Note:  A vegetarian menu is available.
